A story from our practices:
One of our doctors in Rutland, VT was interested in learning more about TPLO surgery and staff efficiency. We were able to pair him up with Dr. Thompson in Ohio who we know lives and breathes TPLO’s and has a very efficient (and fun!) team.
We create meaningful work together
When we empower you to use your talents and skills to the fullest — and do what you love! — the whole company excels. Many leaders in our hospitals have passions for certain elements of veterinary care or practice management such as inventory, customer service, exotics, or specific surgeries. We connect these passionate experts with other hospital leaders who need help in their area of expertise. Doing so helps to improve the efficiency in your hospital so you can focus more time on doing what you love.

A story from our practices:
Holly Daugherty, a Practice Manager from Virginia Beach, loves inventory. She spoke up about her passion and ended up helping us create an Inventory Management course. Holly went on to also help teach the training, and now there’s a chat group full of inventory managers bouncing ideas and their own best practices off of each other.

At Encore, we’re a family, and we value each member of our family and care about their careers and personal lives. And it’s important to us that anyone joining our family shares our values too. We put our people first every day by showing respect, learning, and growing together in an inclusive environment where everyone is valued.
We celebrate our wins
The accomplishments we achieve together are a big deal, which is why we take the time to celebrate them! We host frequent social events that run the gamut from bowling nights to 80’s parties to heading out on the town with the team. We want to work with the best and the brightest who are always pushing for another win (baking skills are a huge plus, too)!
We believe in
giving back locally
Strong communities are better places to live and work. We support our practices’ local communities through participation in local fundraisers and community events. Whether it’s helping a local shelter with spays and neuters or visiting a local school to teach kids about pet safety, we have a blast staying in touch and giving back to our communities. In 2019, our hospitals have donated over $10,000 in donations and services.
