Encore Vet Group Adopts Local Families for the Holidays!

The most wonderful time of the year is upon us once again! The holidays are a classic time for families and friends to come together to celebrate, create memories, and relax after a long year. The holiday season is a time to give back and as we all know, this can also be a particularly hard time of year for families. More families than ever find themselves struggling just to get by.

Every year, the Encore team splits into teams to go shopping for kids in need in Saratoga Springs. This year, we adopted five children aged 4 to 14, through The Giving Circle which supports the Franklin Community Center in downtown Saratoga Springs. The Giving Circle was founded on the principle of “neighbor helping neighbor and community helping community.” They believe that compassion knows no borders and that we all have to help each other in this community and beyond. We couldn’t agree more!

We hosted a “Wine & Prime” holiday shopping event on Zoom so all our remote team members could shop together. Group 1, pictured above, had the best holiday cheer! Courtney G, Tracy, Dr. Myers, and Haylie all sported some holiday gear. Claude’s last name is “Winter”, so he is naturally festive! 😉

We shopped for…

something they want

something they need

something they wear

something they read

and, something for their pets, of course!

We were excited to be able to give back to our local community and have a little fun with our team.
