From Field Days to Ferry Rides: How Our Veterinary Teams Are Bonding This Summer

Aug 13, 2024

This summer, many of our veterinary teams have embraced the season with fantastic team-building events, and we’re excited to share some of their adventures with you! We love that our practices take time out for fun and team bonding, creating opportunities to strengthen relationships, recharge, and make lasting memories.

West Suburban Animal Hospital: Succulent Craft Night

The team at West Suburban Animal Hospital recently enjoyed a creative and relaxing evening at Earnest Brew Works, hosted by Green Crow Plants. They had a blast creating beautiful wine succulent planters! Events like these create fun, lasting memories with the team, while bringing out everyone’s creative side – and everyone got to bring home a home-made momento!

Country View Veterinary Service: Grand Slam Outing

Country View Veterinary Service hit it out of the park this summer with an exciting outing to a Madison Mallards baseball game. The team spent the day cheering on the home team, sharing laughs, and enjoying some classic ballpark snacks. It was the perfect summer setting to unwind and celebrate their hard work!

Animal Hospital of Shawnee Hills: Field Day Fun

Nothing says summer like a good old-fashioned field day! The team at Animal Hospital of Shawnee Hills recently organized an action-packed day full of sack races, water balloon fights, egg-and-spoon races, and more. The event was a hit, allowing everyone to let loose, have fun, and strengthen their bonds outside of the clinic. It was a well-deserved break for their awesome team!

Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital: Ferry Adventure

Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital took their summer team bonding to the next level with an adventurous outing to Put-in-Bay, Ohio. The team boarded the Miller Ferry on Lake Erie and spent the day exploring the island, including a visit to Heineman Winery. From scenic views to local attractions, the day was filled with laughter and plenty of team spirit – and provided a refreshing break from their busy schedules!

We love that our teams take time to connect, relax, and have fun together because we know that a happy, cohesive team leads to better care for their patients and more fulfilling work experiences. Whether it’s a craft night, a day at the ballpark, or a field day full of laughs, we want our teams to remember the importance of enjoying each other’s company and making memories along the way. After all, a team that plays together, stays together!
