Bo Iler

Bo Iler has been part of the veterinary profession for more than four decades, beginning his career in the kennels of his hometown practice in North Carolina. That early hands-on experience laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to supporting veterinary teams and strengthening the businesses that serve them.

Over the years, Bo has advanced through a range of leadership roles spanning manufacturing, distribution, and business development, gaining a deep understanding of operational excellence and scalable growth. Since co-founding Encore in 2018, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s direction—leading Development and Operations before ultimately stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer.

Known for his ability to develop high-performing teams and drive results through collaboration, Bo brings a steady, people-first leadership style focused on empowering others to succeed. His experience, passion, and vision continue to be a driving force behind Encore’s purpose: inspiring the spirit and effectiveness of veterinary teams across its community of practices.

Outside of work, Bo enjoys life with his wife, Lisa, along with their Bernese Mountain Dog, Murphy, and their cat, Leo. Together, they love traveling to visit their grown children and grandchildren.
