Sara started her career in the early days of digital marketing. After graduating from Penn State (we are!) with a degree in Advertising & Public Relations, she joined Manhattan-based agency Deep Focus (now Engine Group). As a digital strategist and publicist, her clients ranged from AMC and HBO to Dewar’s and Penguin Group. In 2010, Sara brought her background in social media, branding, and project management to Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, DC, where she founded and directed the marketing department.
In 2022, Sara joined the Encore team to oversee marketing strategies and programs for our portfolio of specialty hospitals.
Originally from the Philadelphia suburbs, Sara has lived in Maryland since 2009. In her spare time, she enjoys cultivating her native plant gardens and bird watching. She shares her home with her husband, two sons, and cats Sir Paul McCatney and George.
